ABOUT US

Our story began back where we came from and that lovely place that we called home, Puerto Rico. We are a married couple that love each other and form a family together with two amazing kids of course let me Introduce ourselves. My name is Frank Parkhurst and my lovely wife is Yemika Parkhurst. We are the founders and creators of this idea of Into the Caribbean.  After living most of our life in this beautiful Caribbean Island and make a living in very different professions, circumstances takes us in a an unexpected path. From Tae kwon-Do Instructors and owners of a multidisciplinary academy, economic issues in the Island take us on a very HARD decision to leave HOME behind and head to Texas and try to find a better economic destiny for our family.

We start working on Texas in many different kind of jobs from Warehouse, Day Care, Restaurant to Baking. We start doing some baking for fun and it ended up being something GREAT. People start to know our flavors, likes and start asking a lot of questions from our lovely Puerto Rico. 

We always talk form our lovely island about the beautiful wonders that it have and how awesome was living over there. Many people from my warehouse job start asking about Puerto Rico and very surprisingly most people didn't even know that it was a Caribbean Island and some people even said that they think it was providence from Mexico. This and many other people from social media uploading blog just en light how much misunderstood information is from the Caribbean.

We decide to create this website with very rich information about the Caribbean and help people on their next travels or interest Into the Caribbean. We always like underdog stories and we just hope that this one story would be one that create not just a page of our living story but create opportunities and help our lovely Caribbean to become a beacon not just for vacations but an endless land of amazing wonders.
